Europäische Kunst im Islam Brussel, 23. Oktober 20025 – Die Alterspräsidentin des Kulturausschusses der Europäischen Union, Claudia Roth, (Foto) gab auf ihrer Jahrespressekonferenz den Abschluss der Harmonisierungsbemühungen der Europäischen Museen bekannt. Das Projekt mit dem Namen "Europäische Kunst im Islam" sei nun abgeschlossen. In etwa zehnjähriger Arbeit hatten europaweit Kunstexperten in Zusammenarbeit mit Imamen und ranghohen Vertretern europäischer Muslimorganisationen Museumsbestände und Kunstsammlungen durchforstet um nicht islamkompatible Kunstwerke im europäischen Harmonisierungsgeist zu überarbeiten.
