Ehrungen – Irrungen.
Wo Verbrecher noch geehrt werden.
Im Jablonewi-Park im Süden Moskaus soll von Slobodan Milosevic eine Büste aufgestellt werden. Und die Belgrader Straße soll umbenannt werden und Milosevic Straße heißen. Moskauer Kommunisten nannten ihn einen großen Patrioten und stellten ihn in eine Reihe mit Lenin und Che Guevara. In Belgrad weinten angeblich 80 000 um diesen Schwerverbrecher.
Schön, schön die Serben, sie sind natürlich immer noch nicht ganz in Europa angekommen. Allerdings erhalten sie kräftige Zuwendungen, Wiederaufbauhilfe nennt man so was, aus dem EU-Säckel. Wir Europäer sind doch irgendwie unterbelichtet. Es ist uns ein Vergnügen, Schlächter, Mörder und Diktatoren zu unterstützen, 120 Millionen an die Hamas zu
verschenken und den Milosevic-Erben unter die Arme zu greifen.
Eigentlich wundere ich mich schon lange warum es nicht in unseren Hauptstädten endlich Diktatoren-Erinnerungsviertel gibt. Wer will denn heute noch durch die Mozart Straße wandeln. Auch Lessingstraße und Bismarck Allee sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Ein politisch bewusster Mensch wohnt in der Stalinallee, kauft am Pol-Pot-Platz ein, flaniert sonntags
mit seinen Kindern auf der Ho Tschi Minh Magistrale und legt Blumen an der Milsosevic Büste ab. Und natürlich müssen Namen auch angemessen kommerzialisiert werden. Was mir fehlt ist der Goebbels-Keks und die Hitler-Praline, die Allende-Torte und der große schwarze Idi-Amin-Turnschuh in einer Sonderserie von Nike.
Ehrungen also allerorten, viele längst überfällig. Gehirnerweichungen überall, besonders betroffen auch Dichter und Denker. Peter Handke, für den Provakation schon lange Selbstzweck und Stützgerüst eines schwächelnden Oeuvre ist, fühlte sich Milosevic heute jedenfalls besonders nahe. Er sprach vor 20 000 Serben und war glücklich. Na denn, wenn
altern mit Beifall leichter wird…
