Nurses in Berlin...

 

Believe it or not: I broke my heel. Anna was my nurse. She had a boyfriend. She was very nice. I asked her for a portrait photo. She said: “Some day!”
I left the hospital. She was looking once a week after my dressing in my apartment. I asked her one time again, while she changed my dressing: “May I do a portrait today?” She said: “Yes”. I did a photo on the balcony and some in front of my bookshelves.
Last time she came to look after my bandage she asked me: “Want do more photos to remember me?” “Why not?” She striped off and posed. I said: “Not so openly expressed, please…” (I couldn't move with my leg. So I shot all photos from the same position.)
“Hey” she said, “feel free to remember me in any way you like…”
That was her last words. She got dressed and closed the door. I never saw her again. So I have only this and no other photos. I swear!
